HOW TO DOWNLOAD CALL OF DUTY MOBILE |STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

Call of Duty Mobile Download button appears on Playstore for selected users again. The update is available only in certain regions of the world, only to a small number of players. All users who have Pre-registered for Call of Duty Mobile can expect to get the update pretty soon. However, If you haven't pre-registered for the game, you can still download Call of Duty Mobile!!! Here how you can do that.

Yesterday we announced on our Facebook Page (Follow us if you haven't yet) that Call of Duty Mobile is now available on play store in some regions of the world for only a batch of users who pre-registered for the game. The handful of players who managed to download the game were unable to log in, due to some server error. Today Call of Duty Mobile was made available on the play store again for another batch of Pre-registered users. But to their surprise, the game worked without any issues!



If you are one of the lucky users who got the update through the google play store, we envy you. But if you happen to be (and you probably are. Otherwise why would you be here?) among the vast majority of the less fortunate people, we got you covered! Today we will teach you step-by-step HOW YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AND PLAY CALL OF DUTY MOBILE.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD CALL OF DUTY MOBILE

DISCLAIMER: THIS METHOD MAY OR MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU AS THE SERVERS ARE FULL. THIS METHOD WORKED FOR US. THEREFORE WE ARE SHARING THIS WITH YOU. IF YOU ARE SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS POST, WE SUGGEST YOU WAIT TILL THE OFFICIAL ROLLOUT OF THE GAME.

Now with that out of the way, let's begin our step-by-step guide.

Before you start downloading the files, we recommend you to check the System Requirements.

Method: 1

1. Here is the Download Link For Call of Duty Mobile on TapTap app.
2. Tap on the link above. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click I am not a robot. Fill in the captcha and click continue.
3. In the next page scroll to the bottom and wait for the timer to go 0 and tap on "Get link".
4. Click The try Button to Download the app. 
5. After downloading and installing the app, you need to search for Call of Duty Mobile in the TapTap app. 
6. Download and install Call of Duty Mobile

Method: 2

First of all, download the apk and the obb files from the download buttons below. Update: This method (method 2) doesn't work.

How to Installation Call of Duty Mobile ( for Method 2 Only)

1. Go to Android>OBB
2. Now create a folder named "com.activision.callofduty.shooter" (without the ") in the directory.
3. Install the APK
4. Now move the Downloaded OBB file into the newly created "com.activision.callofduty.shooter" folder in the Android/OBB directory.
5. Start the game!!!

*NOTE- If you are from outside Australia you may need to USE any VPN app that has an option to connect to Australian servers. Here is a list of VPN that might work for you-

Season 7 is here! PUBG Mobile Season 7 is about to be launched with 0.12.5 patch Update, and we can't wait to tell you guys everything we know so far! So without further delay, here is Everything You Need to Know about the Latest PUBG Mobile Update.

PUBG MOBILE UPDATE

New Rewards

There is nothing out of the ordinary here. Just like any season update, there are few new emotes if you buy Season 7 Elite Pass. You get an Eagle Pan Skin and Season 6 exclusive Anniversary Avatar Frame if you upgrade to the Elite Plus Pass. You also get a Swayin' Away emote with Elite Pass Plus, but the emote was already available for Elite Pass holders in the previous Season. As of now, we don't know how it will differ from the former. 

One good thing about buying the Elite Pass is that you will get 600 UC back once you reach RP100 (20UC each in 30 different paid RP levels).

New RP based Ranking System

Players will be given badges according to their RP Ranks. We just don't know exactly how it will work at the time of writing this article. But it is safe to say that there will be some rewards associated with each RP Rank. Your RP rank will be dependent on your current RP level/Points.

New Perk System

Along with the new  RP Ranking based badge system, a New RP Perk system was spotted. It is marked as "RP EZ Mission Licence". The Perks are quite self-explanatory.

• Perk 1 unlocks weekly challenge missions 1 week ahead of time. 
• Perk 2 gives you 2 Mission cards each week and 
• Perk 3 will let you open week 8 RP crate without completing any week 8 missions.

The best part is though that if you buy 3 consecutive Royal Pass (season 7 onwards, i.e. Season 7,8,9), then you will get all 3 Perks for FREE! If you want to use perks in Season 7, you will have to pay a premium of 150 UC after you have paid for the Elite Pass. Here is a screenshot for better understanding.

  

New Gun & Gun Skins

Let's dive into something that is not so boring. YES! We are talking about New GUNS! Or just Gun. There is only one addition to to the guns list. The much-awaited Scorpion. Scorpion is a sidearm (takes the pistol slot) that fires 9mm rounds with an ammo capacity of 20 rounds.

You can add an extended mag, and it will have twice as much capacity. It supports a whole lot of accessories, including stock and a vertical foregrip. Have a look at the fully kitted scorpion!!!

In simple terms, Scorpion is a pistol that Packs the Punch of a Submachine Gun. The days of UMP9 are gone. The only downside is it cannot accommodate any scopes other than a red-dot sight.

Gun Skins

Talking about Gun Skins, the leaked pictures show a host of cool skins the blue, white, black AKM does remind us of a pro player. If you can guess the name comment down below. Let's see who gets it right.  However, these AKM and KAR-98 skins were not available in the game at the time of writing this article. Instead, we found 2 new Uzi skins in the lab menu. Have a look for yourself. You can also get a custom kill message by upgrading them.

#Note: One of our readers informed us that the 2 Uzi Skins received some hate from a lot of people due to the naming scheme. So the Gunskins are now called Savagery- UZI.

New Plane Skin, Flight and Parachute Trails

See the light rays coming from the wings of the plane? These are called flight trails. The players will also have similar effects while jumping off the plane.

You will have to buy parachute trails on per match basis. The price is 50 silver fragments.
A new plane Skin is added too which will be unlocked at some RP level and hopefully will not be paid.

Companion Update

Finally, Companion is coming to the global version of PUBG Mobile. You might have seen an eagle falcon-like button in below the lab button once you open inventory in the current version as well which would show an error message once you tap it. The companion is basically a falcon that sits on your shoulder. You can feed it to increase the companion level. We have already covered the this in Details before. Avatar Changes & Outfits

Few new hairstyles are added in this update as well as facial hair or beard for the avatars. Here have a look for yourself. You can also customise the Beard colour irrespective of the hair colour.

   

There are 2 different outfits as well. Once you reach the highest RP levels, you can choose one of them.

Time Restrictions on Zombie Modes

Zombie modes can now only be played in select hours of the day. On weekends though that is from Friday to Sunday, there will be no such time restrictions. Not sure why would the developers incorporate something like that in the game?

Our Thoughts and Release Date

So far, the update seems good. It doesn't have any over the top features or game improvements. But there a few things that will make you want to spend on the game, like the Companion (you will have to buy companion food to level it up) or the Flight and Parachute Trails or the various Perks or the RP Rank System. Lately PUBG Mobile is trying really hard to increase their revenue. We don't blame them but at the same time feel that PUBG Mobile needs a lot of improvements and optimisations which are just lacking in this Update.

PUBG Mobile Season 6 will end by 15th May, and if everything works by the schedule, we might see the update as early as 17th May 2:00 GMT or 7:30 IST onwards. There will be no maintenance break as the update will be in-game. The size of the update will be around 219 MB and 283 MB on Android and iOS, respectively.

A few days ago we told you that Call of Duty Mobile completed 10 Million+ pre-registrations on Google Playstore.

The news that was the courtesy of the official "Call of Duty News" twitter handle resulted in a wave of gossips regarding how one of the most popular (if not the most popular) mobile game, PUBG Mobile will be dethroned by Call of Duty Mobile once the latter is released.

Seems like PUBG Corp. was taking notes and will not go down without a fight. The developers are restlessly working on new updates to keep the game appealing to the users over time.

So Let's take a look at everything new that has been added in the latest Chinese Beta update.

TEAM DEATH-MATCH

PUBG Mobile is trying new modes ever since the zombie mode became popular.

Now the developers are adding a team deathmatch mode. This mode will feature a new tiny map just a few hundred metres in length and width. (We are working on a detailed article on the Team DeathMatch in PUBG Mobile so stay tuned!!)

NEW DEATH ANIMATION

Players will wave at you while sitting down when you kill them. Same will happen to your avatar when you die. Maybe it was put in the game just to reduce the so-called in-game "violence".

BULLET IMPACT

Bullet impact is changed. Instead of blood or green electricity, the animation has been changed. Now there will be a pink-purple coloured spark (by default) whenever you shoot someone. Additionally, you can always change the colour to green, blue or yellow. It can be exclusive to PUBG Mobile China due to some violence restriction on video games in China.

NEW ZONE

The zone is now purple-pink in colour. We are not sure why is that, but it is a significant visual change. Now you will not lose health if you are outside the zone. Instead, you will have a different "zone health bar" just beneath your health bar.

Once you are outside the zone, you will see a 205 seconds timer on your screen. You have to get in the zone in 205 seconds, or you will die. If your zone has bar is low you will have to take "zone health booster" and "zone medkits" to restore it and buy yourself some time.

We personally believe that this new zone health bar system is a bit more complicated and not really something that we liked to say the least.

MORE REALISTIC GUNS

Now it is more of a cosmetic change than anything, but it still is a nice improvement. Guns now have extra texture and detail. We will leave some screenshots below so you can have a look for yourself.

NEW TRAINING MAP

Although it is not really new, the map is now covered with snow giving it a Vikendi look. Everything else is the same. There is also a First-Person Perspective (FPP) training mode.

REVAMPED LOBBY

The lobby is Changed. The field is changed with a more beautiful what looks like a cliff. You can see a smouldering fire behind you at a distance. Really pleasing to the eye.

IMPROVEMENTS

We didn't get to test this Update in hand, but the players who tried this update all said that the game feels much more fluid.

There is an increase in texture details as well making it more realistic looking. Of course, you can turn down the graphics settings in lower-end phones.

Minor Changes

More island added in Erangel

Now when you fly into Erangel, you will notice there is a lot more island surrounding the actual map. This gives it a more vast look, but sadly, this is purely cosmetic. You can't land on or swim to these islands. You will be blocked by an invisible wall.

As stated earlier, this China Beta was leaked by someone, so it is very much in internal testing. Nobody knows if this will come to the global version. There were a couple of features in the previous Chinese Beta versions that never made it to the global version. 

However, we are pretty sure that the team deathmatch mode will be made available soon. Other graphics improvements are also likely to follow suit.

It's been just a while after the official rollout of  PUBG Mobile 0.11.5 Update, but that doesn't stop the rumours mill. Recently PUBG mobile released 0.12 beta update which confirms most of the buzz going around. So today let's talk about everything that matters in the 0.12 beta update.

UPDATED EVENT MODE

The event mode is now replaced with something called MugenSpace. A quick translation is "Infinity". The zombie mode (survive till dawn) can now be found under expansions. This means we can expect new "expansions" to be added later on.

ZOMBIE MODE

A can be found in the infinity mode. The new zombie mode a.k.a "The Darkest Night" adds a whole lot more to the game. You and your team spawn at a random location on the Erangel Map rather than being dropped off a plane! The primary goal of this mode is to Survive until the rescue arrives. The arrival time will be displayed as a 30 minutes timer. Players will have to survive only one night and reach the extraction point to win. A bit of note, during night players, cannot roam in the open as the map will be covered with poisonous green gas. Also, the number of zombie waves have been increased. So God saves you if you find yourself in a tight spot at night. All teams to reach the extraction point will be victorious. The new zombie mode is unlockable only if you reach level 5 in the "Survive Till Dawn" mode.

 NEW WEAPONS & IMPROVEMENTS

Along with the New Zombie Mode, some improvements (mainly weapons) are made to Survive Till Dawn (Original zombie mode) as well.

NEW WEAPONS

• RPG-7: It is an iconic Russian Weapon that is EXTREMELY overpowered as of now. You can kill 10-20 zombies with a single Rocket if you aim it right with the iron sights. The weapon can hold 6 rockets at a time and doesn't support extensions.

• Explosive crossbow: The Explosive Crossbow as the name suggests shoots explosive Arrows. The arrows will explode on impact with the target.

• Liquid Nitrogen mines: These mines will slow down enemies once they step on it. It has the same physics of Zombie mines.

Other changes include the addition of A jungle magazine which will double the capacity of your Assult Rifle (instead of 30 it will be 60 bullets). It can't be used with other guns and is found in Elite Zombie crates. Also, zombies will slow down when you start shooting at them or throw stun grenades on them. There will be a few new zombies, such as zombie dogs to lower your survival chances.

**All weapons and improvements mentioned above will only be exclusive to the now two zombie modes. 

 

COMPANION SYSTEM Or PETS

Do you love pets? Yes? Well, now you can have a pet in PUBG. Great! What will it do? Well, absolutely NOTHING! This feature adds nothing to the game-play. Just a pet follows you around throughout the game while you try to kill enemies. Also, the companion has some dope "tricks" or "actions" (basically companion emotes) up its sleeves which will be available as your companion levels up. Companions level up by following you in matches. You can also speed it up by buying companion food (Wow! now we have more reasons to give PUBG all our hard-earned money! Neat trick PUBG!!!). The companion will perform it's dope "tricks" while you go prone (the companion will fly away) or run. And that's all it offers. 

As of today, there is only one companion that is a while Eagle, which will more often than not, just sit on your shoulder all the time. Thankfully The companion can only be seen by your teammates and you. But the best part is that you can turn off this companion feature if you feel(which actually is!) it too much of an annoyance. All you need to do is un-equip the companion.

PUBG mobile plans to add more companions in the near future, but we only hope that PUBG adds something meaningful in the game rather than trying to be a Fortnite rip-off. Maybe a surveillance drone? Or UAV like Call of Duty?

SOME OTHER UPDATES

Customizable Sights

Now players will get the ability to customise the "Red Dot" in Red-dot site to any 4 given shapes. Players can change the colour of it to the list of given colours as well. This feature is present in PUBG PC for some time now. This will enhance user experience with a Red-dot sight as some players find it challenging to spot the small Red-dot in a heated fight. 

Also, you can customise the Colour of holographic site/2x/3x scopes (Red or Green). Customisations are yet to be seen to the 4,6 & 8x scopes. The hip-fire crosshair now has more colour options to choose from.

Quick Chat Redesign

The quick chat Panel got a Rework. Instead of being a list it the commands are laid out in a circle kind of like the emotes wheel. This makes finding quick chat a lot easier. This doesn't work in the game. The design is spotted in the Quick Chat setting menu.

Different Voice Models

Different voice models were introduced with 0.10. Update. Users were able to choose one from the two available female voice models. Now a new Male voice model(FINALLY!!!) is added in the latest beta 0.12 although it is not working as of now. The options can be found in the quick chat options in the settings menu.

Realistic Animations

The developers are always working to make the gameplay more realistic. PUBG Mobile has previously added realistic animation in previous versions such as the Parachuting animation (The players model brings the legs forward, leans backwoods and pulls the parachute ropes to slow down the fall before touching the ground) or the going prone animation (The player model dives and slide a little if you suddenly go prone while running). Now a new door opening animation is added where the player model will reach out for the door before opening it. 

 

Lobby Changes

The lobby is getting a slight Rework in this update. You can spectate your friends from the lobby itself. Provided the Player has not turned off this feature. Also, there is an option to send a friend request to an enemy player while spectating him/her. The lobby theme is moved to the inventory tab. That means there might be an option to buy items later on in some future update.

Bug Fixes

Along with all the other changes, there are some minor bug fixes related to graphics rendering. A few of the fixed bugs are listed below-

• "Hair was not displayed correctly when equipping certain headgear" bug Fixed.
• Season 6 Pants causing graphics glitches in few foot gears.
• "Doors were not displayed properly" issue fixed.
• "Players getting stuck in buildings in certain areas” bug fixed.
