GAME FOR PEACE TO REPLACE PUBG MOBILE IN CHINA

Game for Peace to Replace PUBG Mobile

Playerunknown's battlegrounds Mobile or PUBG Mobile is by far one of the most successful games ever made for mobile devices. Currently PUBG Mobile has more than 227 Million Players worldwide. Developed by the Chinese tech-giant and game developer Tencent, it was no surprise that China serves as the most significant user base for the game, around 70 Million. What was a surprise though is that Tencent is shutting down PUBG Mobile in China.

TENCENT IS SHUTTING DOWN PUBG MOBILE IN CHINA

The sudden "shutdown" announcement came as a result of Tencent failing to secure a government license to monetise the game. Some reports suggest that the violent nature of the game is one of the reasons why the Chinese regulatory authority denied the monetisation license in the first place.

It's not the first time PUBG Mobile is criticised by government authorities for it's so-called "violent & addictive" nature. The game faced several instances of a ban in some parts of India and Nepal for the very same reasons in the past few months. You can read this report to know more - "PUBG MOBILE: TO BAN OR NOT TO BAN".

PUBG Mobile even faced a trial in China December last year when it failed to compile with norms set by Chinese state-based regulatory authority, SAPP.

However, Tencent is not done yet. Along with the shutdown of PUBG Mobile in China, Tencent announced another game, named "Heping Jingying" or "Game for Peace". The game has a patriotic, government-friendly, anti-terrorist theme with less violence as a report by Technode suggests.

Players across China who logged into their PUBG Mobile accounts on Tuesday were directed to update the game. Later the updated game showed a notice announcing the launch of the open beta of Game for Peace.

OUR THOUGHTS ON "Game for Peace"

The game plays and feels exactly like the recently leaked version of PUBG Mobile China with few visual changes. We suggest you read the article "PUBG MOBILE UPDATE: A New Hope" to get a more in-depth look.

The game puts some effort to appear as an army game with a cargo troop carrier plane in the lobby background.

Fighter Jets now escort the plane that carries the players to the island.

The winning team or players are escorted out of the Island in an airforce chopper.

The top 20 or so players are greeted with a screen where they can see their character celebrating on a stage after the game is over. Everything else is just the same.

Tencent claims the game as "a tribute to the warriors who defend the territorial air space of China" and will help in the recruitment of soldiers into the Chinese airforce.

It seems like The tech-giant (Tencent) probably expected the monetisation licence denial. Thus they were working internally on the project which got approval from the SAPP in early April this year. The game is currently promoted as a "Military skills competition game" as reports suggest.

Although, Every other person react in a different way. For some, its interesting and competitive while for some its boring. A person had said “PubG did change my perception in real life. I have now became a better employee because I am more careful with every single detail at work (I work as a receptionist in a clinic). It’s like it unlocked a whole new Spectrum of ways to act in my brain. I know it sounds crazy but PubG really IS like a drug, a good one that is, when taking responsibly, just like anything else.” on reddit. PubG changed his life. But other people commented in another way on the same article.

I myself also played this game for few days. And my personal experience is- PubG is a very addictive game. You can’t get asleep while playing this. You spend or waste a hell lot of time on PubG. And also, you not only spend your time on playing but also on watching others on streaming channel and youtube. I also faced a kind of heaviness when i started playing because of too much concentration it needs. But, later on this got resolved. Don’t know about other, but i love this game untill and unless this is a huge addiction.

A single game takes around half an hour and yes, you can not stop at one game. So, this is really a time consuming game.

Also, i have noticed one of my friend complaining of vertigo, weakness and flickering in front of eyes after he became addicted to this.

What I suggest is Just don’t make this battleground game your addiction.

WOW, That was really a nice story you shared with us. Yes I totally agree with you in the fact that PUBG Mobile is a good game as long as you are not addicted to it. It's true for every game/ thing out there. Isn't it?

P.S Thank you for the really nice comment. Wish we get more readers like you. It would mean so much if someone like you follows our blog. Thanks my Friend.

That,s what every mature person thinks..addiction to PubG is more dangerous than addiction to drugs. Haha no need to say that Bro...You guyz doing really Well...Keep up the Good Work..!👍
