Launch

The launch is a hot drop Location in the Call of Duty Battle Royale map. You can find superior rifles and snipers here. The many tall buildings, small houses, shacks, and tunnels have okay to a decent amount of guns and ammo along with other loot items.

Shipment

Shipment is another area where you can expect the best loot. Located near the sea coast, the place is connected with a bridge to Seaside. Nuclear plant

Crash

It is a massive area with a lot of buildings. This place is located south to Launch. It is not marked as a hot drop location because of lower than the average number of player drops in the area. The loot available is plenty for a squad to gear up. If you plan to drop by, we will recommend that you start by landing on a high roof and work your way down. So, when you finally reach the ground floor, you will be fully geared to take on anyone.

Sakura

Sakura is the most beautiful location in the call of duty mobile battle royal map. It is a laid back area with minimal to moderate player drops. It is an open area that is more spread out than crash. The loot is good with minimal risk. Drop at this location if you want an easy early game. Landing on high buildings in this area is a good strategy. It will give you a great view and a great vantage point.

Bus Station

The bus station is a cool spot to land, but it swarms with enemies all the time. There is an opening at the heart of the area where you can get a unique crate or loot box. But it can be risky. Going for the open space means you will be exposed to snipers with little to cover. Give it a shot if you are a rusher.

Pipeline

The pipeline is a sweet loot spot. Here you will get all sorts of loot, but there is a reason why we don't recommend this location. First, it is a trendy loot area (which means there will be a lot of players). Second, the best loot is located at the warehouses in the area. There is always a chance that you will run into someone while going for the loot. The worst part, you arrive late and find a maxed out player in the warehouse. Give it a shot if you are confident about your gun swinging skill.

Farm

We saved the best one in the end for our loyal readers. This is our absolute favorite spot. It's got the biggest town right next to it. Anywhere you land will almost always have good loot. Be aware that there will be lots of players as well. However, the loot distribution is excellent, so you are less likely to run into someone unarmed. Try to land on the western side of the city next to the farm. It will give you the best chance of finding the best loot!

Colored Dots on Map

If you are a pro, you probably don't know about this. You can find great loots (crates) on certain locations of the map. These locations appear as blue, green, purple dots on the map. If you are close to the site, you will see a beam of light with the respective colors. This is similar to the airdrop system in PUBG. However, all players can see those dots appear. So, expect some action if you plan to visit those spots.

CALL OF DUTY MOBILE vs PUBG MOBILE: BATTLE OF THE BROTHERS

After a long, long wait Call of Duty Mobile is here (well, sort of). The game after being teased for what seems like ages now was finally made available on Playstore as a closed beta a couple of days back. Call of Duty Mobile is currently available only in certain regions of the world and that too, only for a batch of players who pre-registered first. So, when one of our teammates was selected for the closed beta, we didn't waste any time to test it out and put it up against its half Brother yet biggest competitor PUBG Mobile. So without further delay let's dive into arguably the biggest showdown of 2019, Call of Duty Mobile vs PUBG Mobile.

Call of Duty Mobile vs PUBG Mobile

Let's have a look at the newcomer. Call of Duty or CoD (in short) needs no introduction. After being in the talks from earlier last year, the game finally made an appearance in the play store. CoD Mobile was up for pre-registration on Playstore just after being officially showcased by the developers at GDC 2019. Call of Duty is a massive name in the Gaming community, and it shows in the numbers. According to a recent report the Mobile game has clocked more than 10 Million pre-registration till date. The game takes a lot of its cues from the Modern Warfare series.

On the other hand, PUBG Mobile made it's the first appearance in Q4 2017 a year after PUBG PC (the game that defined battle Royale Genera) was officially unveiled. Since then, PUBG Mobile has come a long way. Even though there were similar games in the market such as Rules of Survival and Free fire, PUBG Mobile blew the competition out of the water with 100 million downloads in just 4 months.

Both the games come from the house of the Chinese tech giant Tencent. That makes them brothers, right? Let's look at them side by Side.

Now before we get into this topic do keep in mind that PUBG Mobile is a full-fledged stable game compared to Call of Duty Mobile which is in its first beta testing.

Login Lobby

The login menu is more or less similar in both the games. The lobby UI in PUBG is more simplistic and clean. Whereas the lobby looks more aesthetically pleasing in Call of Duty Mobile and has a Modern Warfarearfare vibe to it. We will leave the choice to you. Which one do you like more?

The Game Modes

Both the Games offer similar game modes that include Quick Match mode, Zombie mode and everyone's favourite Battle Royale Mode. Unfortunately, even though these modes are present in the game menu of Call of Duty Mobile, only quick matches are available as of now. So that's an instant win for PUBG Mobile. But Call of Duty has more quick match options than PUBG Mobile. A total of 6 compared to 3 in PUBG.

Maps

Yes, the maps are minimal in Call of Duty Mobile compared to the ones in PUBG Mobile. But the matches are fast enough that you don't get bored with it. Also, there is an excellent collection of Maps (don't forget the iconic & Fan-favorites) in Call of Duty Mobile.

Graphics

Both the games have more or less similar graphics settings. PUBG Mobile offers more colour profiles compared to 3 currently present in Call of Duty Mobile. Also, PUBG Mobile has HDR and extreme frame rates options in supported devices.

Settings and Controls

The settings menu is more polished on polished in PUBG Mobile. Everything is laid off nicely. The same cannot be said about Call of Duty Mobile though. PUBG Mobile also offers more customisation, such as how many ammo do you want to auto pick up for each gun by default.

Call of Duty Mobile, on the other hand, provides 2 Control options. Basic and advanced. The default Control settings are basic and come with autofire enabled.

Gameplay and Performance

The gameplay is an area which can make or break any game. Think about Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012. The game looked fantastic, but the gameplay sucked.

Luckily for CoD Mobile, we didn't have any such complaints. In fact, the game ran even better than PUBG Mobile on my pretty low-end Redmi Note 4 with 3 GB of RAM on medium settings. There was no lag what so ever. However network lag was evident at times on Jio 4G, but that's okay considering the issue has more to do with the network than the game itself. My phone did heat up while playing the game for around 10 minutes or so but the gameplay remained smooth throughout the session. 

The quick matches are literally fast and action-packed! We, in particular, liked the kill assist tag. Say you and your teammate kill an enemy together. The player with the highest damage gets the kill, and the other kill assists tag. It completely removes the heated arguments surrounding "YOU STOLE MY KILL!!!".

One thing to note is Call of Duty Mobile doesn't have any gun recoil mechanics! They may add it later on, but it makes the game so easy on small screen phones!! Let us know your take in the comments below.

GUNS & Throwables 

The two games have a rich armoury. Plenty of guns and gun skins. However, PUBG Mobile has more weapons as of now. Call of Duty does have a flamethrower. Smoke grenades will be added in the battle Royale Mode of Call of Duty.

Extras

while PUBG Mobile gives you the ability to customise your characters with clothes and skins call of Duty Mobile gives you iconic characters like Captain Price and Ghost.

Another quick little addition to Call of Duty Mobile is the classic Predator drone strike in the quick match. After some kills, you can call in a missile strike on your enemies and guide the missile to hit them. You may as well call in a UAV or a Handheld drone to help in suppressing the enemy in the open. Killing multiple enemies in one strike, it brings back memories of Modern Warfare Series.

Conclusion

We really liked Call of Duty Mobile a lot. It has a lot of features we wish were in PUBG Mobile such as a drone and kills assist tag. Instead, we got a bird that sits on your shoulder or Companion.

  

All in all, we never imagined that we will get play such a game on a mobile device. It has the classic Call of Duty vibe which is enough to make us jump ship. We can't conclude everything from Just testing an early beta, but as of Now PUBG Mobile still has the upper hand. Moreover, it has a vast user base and is out for everyone! Call of Duty for sure gives it a hard time after it's a stable release. But it will take some time for CoD Mobile to dominate the market in Asia at least. Although Call of Duty will have a significant impact on the western market. It has been the leading franchise in terms of sales in the United States for almost 2 decades after all.

Today Call of Duty Mobile was made available on the play store again for another batch of Pre-registered users. But to their surprise, the game worked without any issues!

It's been a while since we heard anything from the Developers of Call of Duty. Recently they announced that the game will be made available in the Playstore from "Sometime in May 2019". Call of Duty Pre-registration Record

Before its release, Call of Duty Mobile opened pre-registration for the game and has gained quite some interest all around the world. A little over 10 Million + pre-registrations on Playstore!!! to be precise. This is an industry record! The news that turned heads broke in from the "Official Call of Duty News" twitter handle on 2nd May.

The Call of Duty Mobile game has over 10 million pre-registrations on Google Play. Company is excited to bring Call of Duty to mobile.

This is a massive success for the developers working on Call of Duty Mobile. 10 Million is a huge number for a game that is yet to be released. We all know how PUBG Mobile is a and leader & No.1 spot holder when it comes to mobile games to this date. But with the vast number of pre-registration, Call of Duty is all set to give PUBG some stiff competition. Do keep in mind that the game is only available in certain countries for pre-registration and numbers are likely to go up even more. Currently PUBG Mobile has 100 Million+ Downloads on Playstore and a similar number of Downloads from Appstore.
Call of duty Mobile made its beta debut in Australia around December - January. According to the developers, the game is still in a beta stage and is going through various optimisations as it is nearing its official release. We were first able to catch a glimpse of the game at GDC 2019, and Only a handful of people had the chance to test the game beforehand. A release on Mobile platform is confirmed, yet nobody knows the actual release date of this game. The pre-registration had started last month on play store and official website of Call of Duty. If you pre-register for this game, you will get a notified when the game becomes available on play store.

Why Should We Care about All this?!!!

Because Google has a set of Terms & Conditions which needs to be followed by the App Developers in order to run a pre-registration program through play store.

One of the conditions is that the app is to be released within 90days from the start date of pre-registration. Since the pre-registration started from March 18, the actual game has to be released before 18 July.

Fast forward 6 months and Activation has Team up with Tencent to release Call of Duty mobile. Earlier last year Call of Duty Legends of War beta went live on Playstore but was exclusive to Australia. As of now, Call of Duty Mobile is available for pre-registration via play store with no words official release date.

But don't worry, we got you covered! In this post, we will tell you HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL CALL OF DUTY MOBILE on your Android device right away!!!

How to Download Call of Duty Mobile Chinese Beta on Android

 

Step 1:

First Download Call of Duty China Beta by clicking the download button provided below. Just click the "DOWNLOAD" button and download the apk which is nearly 1.11 GB in Size. To unlock the download link, you need to subscribe our Youtube Channel and Visit our FB Page. Our youtube and FB page are strictly related to gaming.

 Step 2:

After downloading this xapk file change the file extension to ".zip". Extract the file with any file manager. We suggest ES file explorer. After decompression is done open the extracted folder and install the apk. Just install it like any other app (Allow installation of apps from "unknown source" to install the apk). After installing this app open it. It will give you an error message or sit in the initial loading screen. 

 

Step 3: 

Now Close Call of Duty mobile and clean the ram. Go to the extracted folder in Step 2. Inside the app, you will find a folder named android. Open the folder >Obb> com.activision.callofduty.shooter. Copy/cut the file and paste it inside the "Android>obb file in your internal storage it will replace the existing file. Just go to the next step.

Step 4:

As the Call Of Duty Mobile Chinese Beta is released only for China, we will require a VPN App to play the game. We will recommend Hola VPN. Click here to download the app!

Step 5:

After installing Hola VPN, open it and select the VPN region to China because Call Of Duty Mobile beta is exclusive China as of now.

Step 6:

After connecting to the Chinese server, just scroll down in the Hola VPN App to find the Call Of Duty Mobile Chinese Beta Icon (the name would be written in Chinese). Click on the Game’s icon, now a pop up will appear on the screen which states about “Fake GPS Location to China” click on the checkmark and proceeds further by clicking the “Start” Button.

Step 7:

After the Connection becomes stable, it will Launch the Call OF Duty Mobile Chinese Beta. You will have wait for some time until the login option shows up. It may take some time.

 

Step 8:

After downloading of latest Updates, the login screen will appear. As China does not allow login through Google or Facebook, so you need to create WeChat or QQ account. We recommend you to download WeChat because it is easy to use. Download WeChat from here.

Step 9:

Once done you can log in to Call of Duty Mobile with Wechat. You can team up with friends via Wechat as well.

A Bit of Note here the Chinese servers are not very stable right now so you might face some issues at the last step. Try a few times if it gives you log in error.
